Care Learning and Development is a training provider based in Renfrewshire, we specialise in delivering a wide range of health and social care training courses in adult and childcare, within West Central Scotland.
ABOUT US
From the very start our focus has been on delivering effective workplace training that learners can understand and apply to their workplace to improve their current practice. This has been made possible by working exclusively with subject specialist trainers who have the relevant work experience in their respective field which allows them to relate the training to scenarios based on real life.
Over the years we’ve grown the business through word of mouth and sheer determination to make it through the coronavirus pandemic which has forced many businesses across the UK to close down. We believe that education should be available to give participants the training they need in a cost-effective manner. We always work in close collaboration with our clients to ensure that our training is thorough and robust and is not a ‘one-off event’.
Get in touch so we can learn more about you and your needs. All our training courses can be tailored to your specific requirements, our friendly team will be happy to assist you and answer all your questions.
HOW THE COMPANY STARTED?
Care Learning and Development was founded by Patrizia Morrone at the beginning of 2020.
Patrizia is a professional trainer with over 15 years of learning and development experience and has worked in a variety of care settings. When working in the frontline as a support worker, Patrizia had found examples of situations where the lack of appropriate and efficient training resulted in not only safeguarding concerns being unreported, but people being treated without empathy or understanding of their care needs.
To tackle these challenges, Patrizia has made it her mission to transform the delivery of health and social care through empowering staff to develop the skills and competencies they need to support those individuals with complex needs to live a fulfilling life.
Patrizia strongly believes that education is one of the most important aspects of life. Education gave Patrizia a knowledge of the world around her and helped her to develop a new perspective of looking at life and to have opinions and points of view on things in life.
Most importantly though Patrizia sincerely hopes that the training can provoke further thinking about how to improve the quality of our relationships and how we can be caring with each other.

My name is Patrizia Morrone. I’m a qualified trainer and founder of Care Learning and Development.
My love for teaching began when I was 17 year old and I attended my first training course. The trainer had such a profound impact on me that I decided at that moment that I wanted to pursue teaching as a career.

Additionally, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings which enables me to create custom projects, based on real-life scenarios.
