This course is suitable for anyone who works with or cares for people, including adults, teenagers and children who suffer from anaphylaxis. It is equally suitable though for anyone who works with members of the public as well as being particularly useful for people who work in establishments that prepare, sell or serve food as anaphylaxis is often related to food allergies.
Our Anaphylaxis training course will teach people how to effectively and quickly treat severe allergic reactions in either children or adults, including how to put a person in the recovery position and how to administer an auto-injector (EpiPen®).
The course is delivered by a qualified First Aider or a healthcare professional who holds a teaching qualification and has a passion for their subject area. Delegates will be assessed throughout the day by the trainer, with a certificate awarded upon completion. Our recommendation would be to deliver this course in-house so that the training can be tailored to suit any specific requirements of the workplace.
