About this course
Aseptic technique is the most commonly performed infection prevention procedure in healthcare; it is also probably the most critical. It involves the use of practices and procedures to prevent contamination from pathogens to render their hands/arms and the patient’s clinical area, wound, proposed surgical site, etc, as free from microorganisms as possible.
This course is designed for any healthcare professionals who are required to use aseptic technique in surgery rooms, clinics, outpatient care centres, and other health care settings. The training provides an understanding of the correct procedures to follow when performing aseptic techniques.
