About this course

Care Learning and Development offers a variety of training courses on dementia for both professionals and anyone who interacts with the public.

Led by our experienced and knowledgeable team, our dementia courses contain information, learning activities, videos and more. They are intended to give the learners an overview of the common types and symptoms of dementia as well as strategies to use with people with dementia and dealing with challenging behaviour.

We believe that quality dementia care begins with a strong foundation of principles and practices rooted in person-centred care. We aspire to ensure that staff are prepared for the potential challenges of their job, as is key not only to their own success, but to the preservation of the individual’s safety, dignity, and quality of life.
